We are crossing the Atlantic to go to NYC with this issue because we are scheduled to attend Playtime & Kids Hub fair to be held in this great city. The same issue will lead us to the Australian continent for the Turkaus Textile Expo to be held in Sydney. We had gone to New York for another show before the pandemic and it was an excellent experience. I believe this show will also perform well. I also believe that the Sydney exhibition, the biggest textile fair in Australia, will also do a good job. It is our mission to attend all leading shows of the baby and kid needs industry no matter where they are. That’s why we have repeatedly gone to China, USA, Taiwan, Russia, all Europe, Middle East, CIS countries, etc.

Although it is a sub-segment of the apparel sector, the baby apparel segment is expected to grow significantly faster than women’s and men’s clothing. Shifting lifestyle of the people, increasing women working population has resulted in more awareness among the population about the proper presentation of their babies. Therefore, baby apparel market is growing significantly. As the demand for new styles is continuously increasing, product innovation is being done to develop new styles and it has become a key success for the baby apparel manufacturers.

North America dominates the baby apparel market owing to the rising awareness for hygiene and safety of the babies among the working parents and the presence of large number of key players. So, it is a big market for quality suppliers like Turkey.

As a cotton producing country, Turkey developed its manufacturing quality, raw materials, exclusive design and delivery services. The Turkish exporters are not selling with cheap prices but very reasonable and competitive prices, which most of American buyers prefer. So, Playtime and Kids Hub fair will be a good venue for all professionals operating in the baby and kid fashion and toys industries. Increasing preference for branded apparel, also offers lucrative and remunerative market growth opportunities in the long run. On the flip side, the changing fashion trends and continuous shift in consumer tastes and preferences has resulted in rising costs of the raw materials of the baby clothing posing it as a major challenge for the market.
