Egypt-Türkiye Apparel B2B event debuts with enthusiastic industry response

ISTANBUL – The inaugural Egypt–Türkiye Apparel B2B Event was held on June 24–25, 2025, at Istanbul’s prestigious Swissôtel The Bosphorus, drawing remarkable interest from the textile and fashion sectors of both nations.

Organized by the Apparel Export Council of Egypt (AECE) in collaboration with Ren Sourcing, the event brought together Egyptian garment manufacturers and leading Turkish fashion and textile companies in a dynamic face-to-face networking platform. It laid a robust foundation for future partnerships and trade collaborations in the apparel industry.

Strong Turnout and Promising Connections

Over the course of two action-packed days, 20 Egyptian apparel producers engaged in over 500 direct meetings with nearly 200 Turkish brands and procurement offices. More than 300 professionals attended the event, highlighting the region’s growing interest in cross-border collaboration.

Participants explored promising order opportunities and took strategic steps toward long-term partnerships. Egyptian manufacturers captured attention with their high production capacities, competitive pricing, and fast delivery options—factors that align perfectly with Turkish brands’ growing demand for sustainable, trustworthy, and regionally sourced suppliers.

A New Era in Regional Sourcing

According to feedback from attendees, the event’s success underscored the increasing appeal of Egypt as a textile hub for Turkish businesses seeking reliable nearshore sourcing alternatives. The event fostered a shared vision for sustainable growth and innovation within the broader Middle Eastern fashion supply chain.
